Western cultures have adopted heteropatriarchy as a societal model. It has created mind frames for men and women, defined “traditional” gender roles throughout history and thus created many stereotypes. We will use a spectrum to explain the difference between femininity and masculinity , as well as their extremes, and the harm of patriarchy caused towards both sexes. Furthermore we will analyze how we could go towards a more equal world.
